Enter as a team of two to five learners. There’s no limit on the number of teams that may enter per school. Fill in your details below so you’re all set to compete when the challenge begins on 1 June 2026.
The Top Investor Challenge is an investment simulation game that you can play on your phone. Your team will be given a virtual pot of money to invest. We'll also show you a series of short videos, each one imagining what the world could look like in the future. Based on what you see, you'll decide where to invest your money. At the end, the team whose investments have grown the most wins the competition.
The challenge kicks off on 1 June 2026. Once the game goes live, you'll receive an email with a link to the game portal and step-by-step instructions to get you started. From there, you and your team can log in, explore the game, and start making your investment decisions at your own pace. You have until 31 July 2026 to submit your final selections, giving you lots of flexibility to play when it suits your team.
Any high school learner in South Africa is welcome to enter the competition. Participants must form a team of two to five learners. There is no limit on the number of teams a school may enter.
The winning team earns R60 000 in cash for their school and R60 000 in Coronation investment vouchers, shared equally among team members.
Not at all. The challenge is designed to be engaging and educational for all skill levels. You’ll learn investment basics along the way.
