Independent long-term fund manager, Coronation, was recognised in five fund categories as a top performer at the annual Raging Bulls Awards ceremony held in Johannesburg last week. Coronation Industrial (Best South African Industrial Fund) and Coronation Bond (Best South African Interest-Bearing Variable Term Fund) each took the top spot for straight performance over the three years to end December 2016 in an asset- or sector-specific ASISA category. In turn, Coronation Bond (Best South African Interest-Bearing Variable Term Fund), Jibar Plus (Best South African Interest-Bearing Short-Term Fund) and Coronation Global Capital Plus [ZAR] Feeder (Best SA-Domiciled Global Multi-Asset Low Equity Fund) were named top performers on a risk-adjusted basis over the five years to 31 December 2016 in a multi-asset category or one of the larger ASISA categories based on market capitalisation.

Our primary focus remains a commitment to this investment approach which allows us to build the best portfolios we can, aimed at meeting the investment needs of our clients.”
