Coronation Fund Managers (Botswana) (Pty) Limited is owned by Johannesburg Stock Exchange listed, Coronation Fund Managers (51%), Botswana staff (25%), a citizen trust (14%) and Club M10 (10%), a group of female business professionals involved in different aspects of the Botswana economy. Coronation Botswana provides institutional clients with investment products which are tailored to meet the needs of the majority of investors, both locally and internationally. The business commenced operations in March 2005, and is staffed and managed by Botswana citizens, supported by Coronation's network of diverse and specialist resources in Cape Town and London. Our aim is to become the leading provider of asset management services to the Botswana savings and investment markets, primarily via private sector and public sector institutional clients. The role of Coronation in achieving this goal is to train and develop our investment staff as well as to provide technical and marketing support. As an investment house, the role of the investment team is central to determining the strategic direction of the business. Under the stewardship of Chief Investment Officer, Karl Leinberger, the Botswana investment committee draws on Coronation's core investment research capabilities and proven methodology to tailor risk profiled mandates for clients.
