Coronation receives accolades at POA awards ceremony

Coronation Fund Managers was honoured with a total of four awards at the annual Imbasa Yegolide Awards ceremony, hosted by the Principal Officers’ Association on Monday, 11 June. The awards are aimed at rewarding professional excellence by recognising service providers who have delivered excellent service to the South African retirement fund industry.

Coronation was voted Equities Manager of the Year for the third consecutive year, and Overall Investment/Asset Manager of the Year for the second time since the inception of these awards four years ago. In addition, Coronation was voted Absolute Returns Manager of the Year and Bond Manager of the Year.

Kirshni Totaram, Head of Institutional Business at Coronation comments: “We are both delighted and humbled to have received the top Imbasa Yegolide Award in each of the categories for which our clients have nominated us.”

According to Totaram the aim of these awards is closely aligned with Coronation’s commitment to always putting clients first, and their investment philosophy of investing for the long-term. “At Coronation we know that without clients we do not have a business.
